819th Air Division

    Activated on 1 Feb 1956, the 819th Strategic Aerospace Division supervised and directed the combat training of its subordinate units. The division emphasized flying operations, flying training, and aircraft maintenance. In fulfilling its duties, the 819th participated in numerous tactical training exercises.

Redesignated on: 1 Apr 1962 as 819th Strategic Aerospace Division.
